For 20+ years I've worked inside hospitals, doctors' offices and insurance companies. I've checked insurance at the front desk, sorted out prior authorizations and walked newly diagnosed cancer patients through their care. I've also been a medical advocate for 15+ years, including for large insurance companies, and I've helped patients save more than $2.8 million in medical bills.

Today I'm a licensed life and health agent, and I work with major carriers including BCBS, Medica and UnitedHealthcare.
